Shawn Whitney is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist, and ghostwriter with three feature film credits and thirteen published novels under his own name. As one of the science fiction writers focused on purposeful and socially engaged storytelling, he has also written more than three dozen novels for clients, many of which have reached Amazon bestseller status.
He works primarily in speculative fiction — science fiction and fantasy — while also writing thrillers, noir mysteries, action, drama, and romance. His work is known for blending compelling genre storytelling with socially engaged themes, using fiction to explore racism, sexism, war, imperialism, capitalism, and the deeper question of what it means to be human.
